Fine craftsmanship with an artistic perspective

Our story

My work is shaped by a belief that craftsmanship and thoughtful design should feel timeless, functional, and deeply personal.

I studied fine art at Savannah College of Art and Design and the University of New Hampshire, where I earned a BFA in Painting. That creative background still shapes the way I approach craftsmanship, design, and detail today.

For the past 20+ years, I’ve worked in custom carpentry, high-end residential construction, and project management — building everything from detailed finish work and wall treatments to custom spaces designed specifically for each client. I care deeply about quality, communication, and creating work that feels timeless and authentic.

Today, Common Grain is a reflection of that experience: thoughtful craftsmanship, natural materials, and a hands-on approach to every project.

I live in Greenville with my wife and our three children.
